This is war- Tendai Biti
Rutendo Nhanga
Movement for Democrat Change Vice President Honorable Tendai Luxton Biti has declared war following the recalling of the party’s four legislators Charlton Hwende, Tabitha Khumalo, Prosper Mutseyami and Lillian Timveos. Speaking on Tuesday Tendai Biti called such actions a signal to war warning Emmerson Mnangagwa of a change in tactics.

The move by Parliament speaker has shocked many even those in Zanupf. The members who were recalled all went into the election under MDC Alliance banner not the MDC-T, the latter had it’s own candidates that contested the 2018 July election with the leader being Thokozani Khupe.
A Zanupf Member of Parliament who declined to be named said the whole scenario was too much even by his party’s standards. ‘I did not see events unfolding so fast it was a real shock to me and fellow Cdes. The move will likely lead to a strong presence of Zanupf with By Elections coming up’. Most of the Zanupf Harare province members are said to have taken a key interest in the Kuwadzana East seat held by Charlton Hwende.
One of our contributors Tafadzwa Sambiri has called on the leaders of MDC Alliance to rebrand or forever be engaged in endless fights with Zanupf. ‘As i said in a video post, this is the best time for MDC Alliance to rebrand, this will mean all seating MPs having to resign at once and not wait to be fired. This will in turn lead to a mini general election as over 20 by elections will be taking place. It was wrong for MDC to take a soft stance against Emmerson Mnangagwa since July 30th 2018. What Nelson Chamisa says and does in the next few hours will be crucial’.
Dangwe News sources in the opposition have said the talk of MPs resigning has not been discussed as yet. ‘We will show solidarity in strongest way possible and it will be what the supporters want not us leaders, the biggest asset to us are those supporters ivo maChete Chete aya’. In a letter circulating on social media Douglas Mwonzora is said to be eying Harvest house and all it’s assets.
