Adam Lallana saved Liverpool with an 85 minute strike to ensure the Reds get a point.
Liverpool lead at the top has gone down from 8 to 6 following a draw with United. Last season Liverpool were also 8 points ahead but dropped all and ended up 2nd.
It was a better performance by Manchester United despite sharing points. If United can keep the momentum going on they can easily climb into top 10.
